[COVID-19] Glasses Hack Reduces Exposure?! (Weird!)

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

I don’t know about you, but whenever I walk into a store, I leave my glasses in the car.

I’ve just gotten too frustrated with the war between my mask and my glasses. Not only do my glasses slide up and down my nose (or even fall off when I lean over!), but they also STAY fogged over.

And frankly, I’d rather just squint at labels and price stickers than deal with that whole mess.

I don’t know how you near-sighted folks do it!

But now there’s a good reason to keep your glasses on… and it doesn’t have a thing to do with your sight.

Here’s everything you need to know about this weird glasses hack… and how it could REDUCE your COVID-19 exposure risk.

Researchers have just discovered that wearing glasses the risk of COVID-19 infection by as much as 21 percent.

It’s something that has become known as “nerd immunity,” but the real-life results are NO JOKE.

In the study, researchers looked at the health records of folks in India who wear glasses. Apparently, a whopping 40 percent of adults in India wear glasses.

But of those glasses-wearers, only 19 percent contracted coronavirus.

That means that the glasses-wearing population was two to three times LESS likely to get the deadly virus.

But how do glasses protect you?

You see, the tear duct in the corner of your eye is connected by a passageway to your nose.  Whenever you cry or your eyes water and then your nose becomes runny, you are experiencing your tear duct in action: fluid is moving through the passageway between your eyes and your nose.

The problem is, when a germ or virus hits your eye, it also follows that pathway and goes STRAIGHT to your nose. And as we’ve learned with COVID, this is where you carry a large part of the viral load.

It’s important to remember that while your glasses are keeping you safe from germs, that means they’re also trapping them. Make sure you wash your glasses frequently, and especially after you go out in public.

And if you’d like some helpful tips about how to keep your glasses free of that infernal fog, check out this how-to video.

P.S. Want to ramp up your COVID-19 protection even more? Try this trick that could possibly block 95 percent of germs. Learn all about it right here.
