Do THIS to TURN OFF Your “Fat Genes”

Pat sat in my office, looking frustrated.

I can’t lose weight,” she told me.

“My mom, my grandma, and my sisters are all overweight… I just have bad genes.”

But I reassured pat – just like I’m about to reassure you your genes are part of the story… but not the whole story when it comes to your weight.

Because a new study shows just how powerful (and easy) one thing is when it comes to controlling your weight.

And it can even have a HUGE impact on your so-called “fat genes”.

A new study, published in the online journal PLOS Online, showed that genes are not our destiny – especially if you struggle to lose weight.

Yes, certain people do have genes which increase their chance of becoming overweight (Pat comes from one of those families).

But there are EASY exercises you can do to help reduce body mass index, body fat percentage, and waist to hip ratio… even if you are genetically prone to being overweight.

The researchers found that regular jogging appears to be the best type of exercise for managing obesity

That doesn’t mean you should take up jogging or that it will be good for you

Other exercises work almost as well as jogging (and don’t have the downside of hurting your knees or ankles).

The best exercise for anyone is to walk. Think about walking to the store or to run an errand

The next best exercise is biking (which is great for anyone with knee problems and something you can do in front of your television (if you have a stationary bike).

You can also dance, do yoga, garden, swim, or even mountain climb – all will help you keep your bodyweight down… no matter which genes you were born with
