Miracle Vitamin REDUCES Chemo Damage?!
You and I both know chemotherapy is barbaric in terms of a “treatment”.
Most of the time chemo is often far more debilitating than the cancer itself! Even chemotherapy doctors swear they would never take the cancer drugs they prescribe on a daily basis.
Despite chemotherapy sounding a lot like bloodletting and leeches, many people still choose it because they believe it’s the only choice they have.
But here’s the thing, if you find yourself (or a loved one) choosing chemotherapy, don’t do it alone: nature offers you a way to soften the blow from those health-wrecking chemicals.
It all starts with vitamin D.
Surprisingly enough, vitamin D can help blunt the bad side effects of chemotherapy.
And let’s be honest, you should be taking vitamin D, anyway.
Chemotherapy has many well-known side effects, including: hair loss, nausea, and extreme brain fog. but it also a nasty side effect most people haven’t heard of called gastrointestinal mucositis.
Mainstream docs worry about gastrointestinal mucositis because it can really set a cancer patient back, increasing nausea, vomiting and making nutrient absorption from food much more difficult.
Gastrointestinal mucositis is a side effect of chemotherapy because it targets fast-growing cells in your body.
For example, uour hair is a fast-growing cell (that is why so many people lose their hair during chemotherapy). But the inside lining of your digestive tract (called the mucosa) is one of the fastest growing cells in your body.
When chemotherapy wipes out the mucosa, it causes painful inflammation of the digestive track – then people get sick and stop eating.
Guess what can come to the rescue?
A new study, published in the journal Supportive and Palliative Care, found that vitamin D can STOP the digestive inflammation caused by chemotherapy.
Vitamin D works by suppressing inflammation and enhancing immune cells called T cells (which boost immunity).
This is monumental news because vitamin D has also been shown to boost or strengthen other anti-cancer drugs as well (making them more effective).
Everyone should be taking Vitamin D (especially during the winter months).
Keeping your gut healthy is essential during chemotherapy, so besides taking Vitamin D make sure you’re also taking a good probiotic, digestive enzymes, and you can soothe your gut with an herb called Slippery Elm.

Dear Reader, A patient of mine, we’ll call her “Mary”, walked into my office one day, looking rather disheveled. She dropped her purse onto the floor, pulled out a water bottle and took a big swig. Seeing this, I quietly suggested that she might want to make another choice about what she was drinking. “What’s wrong with water?” she said. “I thought you were supposed to...
Dear Reader, There’s a nearly 40 percent chance that you’ll get diabetes sometime in your lifetime. And I don’t need to tell you how bad that is for your health. Dear Reader, Recently, Jim, a friend of mine, was talking about how miserable his life had become following a motorcycle accident. Sitting across from me, he explained was having trouble working, sleeping, and he felt nervous all the time.
