Surprising Migraine Trigger REVEALED (Wow!)

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

If you suffer from migraines, I’ll bet dollars to donuts you’ve tried everything.

You’ve gone through bulk-size bottles of Advil… you’ve tried skipping caffeine AND having extra… you’ve tried massages and maybe even Botox…

And none of it’s done a darn thing to make your migraines go away.

But now, researchers may have discovered the reason why.

There’s a surprising cause of migraines… and once you know what it is, you can FINALLY get lasting relief.

A new study reveals that obesity could cause vicious chronic migraines.

Not only that, they can cause a specifically dangerous type called idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH).

When researchers found that IIH rates have increased six times in the last decade and a half, they designed a study to find out why.

By examining the data of migraine patients in Wales, they found that not only were these types of migraines increasing, obesity had leapt from 29 to 40 percent.

You see, IIH is a headache the results from increased pressure in the brain. But it’s not just uncomfortable and annoying… it can be life-threatening.

The study found that people with excess weight have more migraines because they have more hormone-producing fat cells.

The headache occurs when the fluid around your brain and spinal cord builds up in your skull. And problem is, IIH migraines can feel like any other headache, including symptoms like unbearable head pain, blind spots, and vision loss. It can be hard to determine which type of headache you’re experiencing.

If you have excess weight and are experiencing more headaches, then you should see your health care provider as soon as possible. If you’re a woman, you should be especially mindful. The researchers found that 85 percent of the migraine cases occurred in women.

The best solution? Start a weight loss plan.

Thankfully, there are many great natural—and easy—ways to control your weight. Here are a few:

  • Eat more protein. You need to eat protein to feel full, have less appetite, and lower your cravings. Protein easily fills you up and uses more energy to digest than any other type of food. Protein also helps build muscle mass, which pushes your metabolism into overdrive.
  • Drink ONLY water. This is the hardest step for most people, but the calories that come from drinking soda, juice, or anything besides water are calories you don’t need. If you want to drink something else, try green tea or coffee—these kick your metabolism into high gear and help your weight loss efforts.
  • Get some supplement help. One of the most powerful fat-burning supplements out there is berberine. This plant extract reduces inflammation and flips on your natural fat-burning switch. African mango, ashwagandha, and saffron are also great for helping you lose those extra pounds.

P.S. Already trim and slim? Here are some more possible causes for frequent migraines. You’ll be downright shocked when you see what else could be the reason for your pain.
