Mailbag! Nighttime Peeing Problems Solved!

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

You’ve got questions…

We’ve got answers!

Nothing can interrupt your good night’s sleep like frequent trips to the bathroom.

And as uncomfortable as this condition is, managing it isn’t worth losing your life to risky drugs. But if you’re taking Big Pharma’s newest nighttime urination solution, you could be gambling with some serious heart issues.

Fortunately, there’s an all-natural way to deal with late-night dances to the bathroom.

Let’s dive in…

Dear Natalie,

I have to visit the bathroom at least four times every night. I’m losing sleep and waking my poor wife at all hours. Do you know if there’s a natural way to solve my bladder trouble without turning to prescription meds?

Thanks!

Jim A.

Thanks for the very important question, Jim. Many guys, especially those with prostate issues, are losing plenty of sleep to those nighttime bathroom runs.

If you’ve been following the news, you may have heard that there’s a newly approved drug called Noctiva that’s supposed to help. But it comes with some very serious and risky side effects.

In fact, it’s so potentially threatening to your health, it’s hitting the market with a black-box warning about how it can drop your sodium to dangerously low levels.

Low sodium levels are dangerous for everyone but can be particularly troublesome for folks who suffer from high blood pressure or congestive heart failure.

What’s worse?

Taking this drug only reduces your trips to the bathroom by one or two a night.

This means the FDA has signed off on a medication that can make your health swirl the drain and delivers only minimal relief.

Thankfully, there’s a natural solution for this problem that’s been used by African healers for centuries.

It’s called pygeum, and it’s chock-full of special compounds that can reduce inflammation and help you stay out of the bathroom. In one study, men who took 50 mg of pygeum for two months saw their nighttime trips to the loo significantly decrease.

Imagine that — more sleep for you and your wife without the health risks!

Even better, in this same study, men also saw a 40 percent reduction in prostate symptoms and a 23 percent increase in urine flow.

You can pick up pygeum at natural health stores as a stand-alone supplement or as part of a prostate formula. Just make sure you’re getting enough. Much of the research on pygeum has focused on doses from 50–100 mg.
