Free Trick Boosts Memory 300%

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

As we age, memory loss goes from a faraway possibility to an everyday reality.

And let’s face it — none of us really thinks we will forget the important people and events in our lives.

But as the years tick by, you could find that things like catching up with your family, remembering birthdays and even sharing memories with your grandkids can become a bit of a struggle.

As it turns out, though, some researchers from Northwestern University have discovered an easy way to help you keep your precious memories and even make your memory three times stronger.

Even better? You’re already doing it every single day.

It’s sleep!

And if you’re listening to the right sounds at night, you could improve your quality of sleep and boost your memory.

For this study, 13 participants over age 60 spent two nights sleeping in a lab.

The first night they slept with pink noise playing, which are gentle sounds that synchronize to your brain waves. The second night they slept without pink noise.

Before and after both nights, the researchers tested the participants’ memories with a word test.

And what they found was amazing…

On the morning after sleeping with the sounds, the participants recalled three times as many words as they did after sleeping without the pink noise.

That means that by simply sleeping with pink noise, you can increase your memory threefold!

Researchers believe pink noise is so effective because it fosters the type of deep sleep vital for memory and key to restoring your brain.

From these findings, the scientists believe sound therapy could eventually play a critical role in fighting dementia, Alzheimer’s and other memory disorders.

Pink noise machines are available for sale on the internet, but they cost over $100.

Instead, you can download pink noise applications, like Sleep and Noise Sounds, on your smartphone, tablet or computer free.

It’s that easy – just turn on the pink noise, tuck in and let your brain do the rest.

Live well,
