Knee Pain? Try This Spicy Cure

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Seems just like yesterday, doesn’t it?

When you could walk to and from the grocery store without a single twinge in your knees.

But these days you’re lucky to get from the bedroom to the bathroom without one or both of them giving out.

You shouldn’t have to live in such pain… and you don’t have to.

Because a brand-new clinical trial has found that one spicy food might be the key to warding off your knee pain.

And you should start using it now— before Big Pharma starts charging you through the nose for it.

I’m talking about chili peppers.

These hot veggies contain capsaicin, a special molecule that’s been linked to everything from balancing your gut to fighting breast cancer.

It’s also great at fighting inflammation, and a group of scientists wanted to see if capsaicin could stop knee pain.

But instead of trying the real thing, researchers from pharmaceutical giant Centrexion Therapeutics synthesized their own version of capsaicin for knee injections.

They tested the shots on 175 patients with difficult-to-treat arthritis who hadn’t found relief with previous treatment.

And as it turns out, the injections really work — even 24 weeks after shots, patients saw significant pain relief, better physical function and less knee stiffness.

Additionally, some patients in the trial experienced less pain when walking.

Experts believe the reason capsaicin — in natural or synthetic form — can combat knee pain so well is due to its ability to slow inflammation and shut off pain signals to the brain.

The supplement industry has been on to capsaicin for years, using it in both capsules and as a cream. And, like I said, Big Pharma now wants to create a synthetic version they can charge a bundle for.

But you don’t have to wait for that.

In fact, one study shows that folks using a 0.025% capsaicin cream can cut their knee pain in HALF in as little as two days.

And the best part — you can get this strong relief without injections and for just pennies a day.

You can find capsaicin creams at your local pharmacy or through online retailers like amazon.com for as little as $7.

Real relief from a natural product that won’t break the bank? That’s something you’ll never get from Big Pharma.

Live well,
