The Shocking Reason Your Testosterone is Plummeting

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

You feel your strength slipping away… your energy levels are tanking… and your sex life has gone completely MIA.

You don’t need a doctor to tell you your testosterone levels are plummeting – you FEEL it every day.

We’ve always been told that Low-T is a problem that comes with age, and that all guys face it.

But the truth is, there’s a very easy way to stop testosterone loss in its tracks.

And most guys are never told about it.

Your manhood is being attacked from all sides.

In case you haven’t noticed, our modern world is hard on our hormones.

Recent studies have shown that testosterone can be lowered by:

  • Estrogens (found everywhere in our food, chemicals, medications…)
  • Mosquito repellant
  • Chlorine pools
  • Sunscreens
  • Many medications

… and, now, a new study shows that lack of sleep will reduce your testosterone fast.

It has been known for a long time that testosterone levels rise and fall during the day and follow your “body clock” (also called your circadian rhythm).

But now we’re starting to understand exactly how sleep issues can cause long-term testosterone problems.

Older men can throw up their hands, saying they don’t care about their testosterone levels –they don’t need to make babies anymore.

But testosterone is extremely important to a man’s health.

Testosterone has a lot to do with muscle mass and strength – which has a lot to do with how long men live. The more muscles mass you have, the longer you are likely to live.

Libido – how much you want to have sex, is also closely tied to testosterone levels.

The scientists in this study showed that poor sleep or interrupted sleep decreased testosterone and that men who didn’t sleep well had less muscle mass, and were weaker.

Clearly, testosterone is important.

Let me show you how to fix this problem.

Dr. Scott’s Plan for Improving Sleep (and Boosting Testosterone):

  • Go to bed the same time every night.
  • Make your room dark – keep light from entering the room.
  • Get off your screens (all of them) at least an hour or more before going to sleep – the light screens emit can alter your sleep pattern.
  • Exercise hard during the day. Good exercise makes your body more restful at night.
  • Replace your coffee with green tea. Green tea contains an amino acid called theanine that helps keep you calm and improves sleep.
  • Melatonin is the best natural substance to get your circadian cycle back on track.
  • There are great herbs to calm you down and help you get a good night’s sleep, including lemon balm, hops, passionflower, and chamomile.

Don’t let sleep interrupt your testosterone production.

Take action now to make sure you are getting a good night’s sleep – it is just too important not to.

Health and Happiness,

Scott Olson
