Is THIS the Most Dangerous Drug in the World?
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Living with back pain or chronic arthritis is no walk in the park.
But I think we can all agree that they’re not as bad as a gunshot wound… or having your body covered in shrapnel.
For years, the military has relied on morphine to treat some of the worst pain… and most horrific injuries… imaginable.
But now Big Pharma is pushing a drug that’s 100 times more powerful than morphine – and MUCH more addictive and deadly.
It’s called fentanyl, and it may be the most dangerous drug in the world.
And if you’re taking it now, you need to take some quick action that could save your life.
Fentanyl first hit the market in 2006 – and, trust me, it’s caused a lot more pain and heartache than it’s relieved.
If the name sounds familiar, it’s the drug that medical examiners found in the musician Prince’s body when he overdosed.
And he’s not the first person to overdose and die from the stuff. Fentanyl has practically become the poster drug for the whole opioids epidemic.
Like I said, it may now be the most dangerous drug in the world.
You see, one of the problems with fentanyl is that is works quickly, but doesn’t last long.
Since fentanyl wears off quickly, most people take a lot more than they should.
And because it’s so addictive, people end up hooked and overdosing at the same time.
This isn’t just happening to junkies or drug addicts, either. Seniors and other well-meaning people suffering from pain are overdosing left and right.
We are used to hearing about drug problems caused by illegal drugs, but this epidemic is being driven by people we trust: doctors.
Whole towns have been decimated by this opioids epidemic as people are prescribed fentanyl for common pain problems (such as back pain or arthritis) and end up becoming addicted.
And this is not isolated. Drug overdoses – mainly from opioid drugs such as fentanyl – rose almost 20 percent in the US in 2016.
Meanwhile, drug company profits continue to climb. It’s disgusting.
Fentanyl is the drug these companies dreamed about – a drug so addictive it makes heroin look like sugar.
There are two lessons from what I’m telling you.
The first is that the FDA should have never approved such a drug for use outside of a hospital, but they bowed to Big Pharma pressure. This means you cannot trust the FDA to look out for your health – they are only looking out for drug company profits.
The second is to never take opioid pain killers (hydrocodone, oxycodone and fentanyl) unless you absolutely must; and if you do use them, get of them as quickly as possible.
Look for natural alternatives like curcumin, which controls the inflammation that leads to chronic pain.
It takes some work, but you can stay away from the FDA drug addiction gauntlet – if you keep your smarts about you.
Health and Happiness,
