GREAT Sex After 60? Here’s How…
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Here’s something that lots of my senior patients seem to have forgotten.
Sex is supposed to be FUN… not something you stress out about.
But, be honest guys – how much time have you spent worrying about whether you’d be able to perform?
Probably a lot.
Our sex drives — and even our ability to get and maintain erections – can start to fail us as we age.
But the good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. You can have the best sex of your life after 60 – and I’m going to show you how.
Let’s first talk about what is natural and what is not as you age.
It is natural for sex drive to wane as you grow older.
It is not natural to never think of sex.
It is natural to have an erection fail every once and a while.
It is not natural to fail every time.
I don’t know if you have ever tried the drugs for erectile dysfunction, but I’ve heard plenty of nightmares of what can go wrong – such as erections that last for days.
Taking these drugs also comes with increased risk for heart attack, headaches, nausea, and even blue-tinted vision!
If you have trouble with sexual performance, let me tell you that there are easy natural solutions that I’ve used successfully with my own patients.
Dr. Scott’s “Sure Sex” Solutions:
- Start with your weight. If you are overweight, your best path out of that is to eat a diet of mostly vegetable and good proteins. Make sure you are exercising enough to build muscle mass.
- Control your blood sugar: Poor blood sugar control destroys blood vessels throughout the body. Remember that blood supply to the penis is what causes an erection.
- Make sure you heart is healthy. One of the side effects of heart disease is a loss of sexual function. Stop in and see your doctor if you are worried your problem may be your heart.
- Build muscle: Not only will this help you to feel stronger, but increased muscle mass also boosts testosterone.
- Support natural testosterone production though good nutrition and supplements like zinc and the herb called Eurycoma longifolia.
- Look at your prescription drugs. Many drugs destroy libido (especially antidepressants and heart medications).
