Is the Flu Vaccine Wrecking Your Health?

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Ever since the 1950s, mainstream doctors and the drug industry have been bullying us into getting annual flu shots.

In fact, if you refuse a flu vaccine they’ll tell you that you’re crazy… or that you’re risking your life.

But that flu shot comes with a nasty secret that nobody ever talks about.

It may not do a thing to stop the flu – but it could end up ruining your life.

And keeping your sleeve rolled down may be the smartest and healthiest think you can do for yourself this winter.

I hate to tell you this, but we will never win the war on microbes like bacteria and viruses.

You probably already know about the problems with antibiotics, and all the antibiotic-resistant “superbugs” that are killing people right now.

Well, vaccines won’t get us there either.

To make a flu vaccine, researchers travel to China (because flu season starts in this part of the world and spreads from there) and make their best guess as to which strain of flu is going to infect the world.

The flu vaccine is then manufactured in the U.S. and is big business. It is estimated that the flu-shot business is worth $1.6 billion each year.

That is a lot for a vaccine that usually doesn’t work.

There are lots of reasons the flu vaccine doesn’t work, but the main reason is that the flu bug is constantly changing. The flu bug researches found in China is sometimes the same one that blasts across the world, but often is not.

The most prestigious journal in medicine, the Cochrane Review, studied the effectiveness of the flu vaccine and this is what they had to say, “The preventive effect of the flu vaccine on healthy adults is small.”

Does the flu vaccine work? A bit.

Does the flu vaccine work enough to justify a $1.6 billion ($4 billion worldwide) expense every year?

No.

And the flu vaccine does real damage. Suspected problems from flu vaccines include autoimmune diseases, neurological damage, and others.

And another new study should cause you to think twice about the flu vaccine.

This study showed that giving kids probiotics dramatically reduced the incidence of flu. While you might think I’m off-subject by talking about probiotics, I’m not.

Here’s why: Vaccines (and antibiotics) destroy the gut bacteria that usually protect us. That means we are reducing our body’s ability to fight the flu with every flu shot we receive.

But probiotics give us the healthy bacteria our immune systems need to fight off infections.

The flu is nothing to sneeze at. It is a very serious disease. The 1918 flu infected an estimated 500 million people worldwide, and killed about 10 percent, or 50 million people.

You must make your body as strong as possible to avoid getting the flu (or to be able to handle it if you do get it). This means following my advice to: eat well, exercise, get good sleep, take probiotics, and supplement to make up for anything that is missing in your diet.

Health and Happiness,
