How to STOP Your Body From Making Fat
You look at yourself in the mirror… and you see that extra fat jiggling around your belly or thighs.
And you ask the same question lots of people ask: “Where does all this body fat come from?”
We’ve all been told for years that the fat on our bodies comes from the fat we eat.
The only problem? That’s total nonsense.
Knowing where your fat comes from is the secret to making it go away.
Let me show you how easy it can be.
“De novo lipogenesis” is the term for making fat from sugar.
Normally, making fat from sugar is a hard process that your body would rather avoid.
But once your body turns on that switch… and starts producing fat from sugar… things can get out of hand FAST.
A team of researchers discovered this when they fed healthy mice 125% of their daily caloric needs (they were eating 25% more than they needed as carbohydrates).
Their blood sugar went crazy and fat production increased six times.
Another study found the same: When women were fed 50% more than their caloric need (from sucrose or glucose), their fat creation increased by three times.
That’s a lot! Here is the recipe for fat creation (according to the study):
- Too many calories
- Eating mostly carbohydrates
This research gives us the final piece of the puzzle: insulin is the hormone that is high when your blood sugar is high. It is also the hormone that changes sugars into fat.
The reason is simple: when blood sugar is high, your body wants to store it for a time when you don’t have calories.
But here is the other interesting finding: when blood sugar is high, food fat is also converted into body fat.
I imagine now you’re wondering, “How can I stop fat creation and lose weight?”
Here’s how:
Dr. Scott’s Plan to Drop Sugar and Lose Weight:
- Start by supporting your body’s ability to control blood sugar. The mineral chromium and the herbal extract berberine can help to balance your blood sugar. The herbs, Sphaeranthus indicus and Garcinia magnostana, can also help. You can find all of these supplements easily online.
- Make sure you are eating well. Avoid sugars and foods that act like sugars (like artificial sweeteners) as much as you can. Don’t worry too much about calorie-counting. Fill your plate with mostly good proteins and vegetables. Proteins help to build muscle mass which encourages good lean body mass.
- Find a way to exercise. For weight loss, you are not looking to burn a lot of calories, but to increase your muscle mass. This means weight lifting is more important than running 10 miles.
The formula for fat-building is easy: You eat sugars, insulin skyrockets, and your body stores fat from your food and it creates new fat.
The formula for fat-burning is the opposite: Keep your sugars low and take supplements to help control blood sugar.
