The SHOCKING Truth About Alzheimer’s
Big Pharma never changes.
All they care about is masking your symptoms… and not finding a CURE.
Nowhere is that more apparent then with Alzheimer’s disease.
Scientists are constantly peering ever deeper into our brains in a desperate attempt to uncover the cause of Alzheimer’s. But maybe they should look at the rest of the body…
Because the truth is, Alzheimer’s doesn’t start in your brain at all.
And once you understand what’s REALLY causing it, you’re a step closer to the cure.
Our story starts with two sets of mice in a lab.
One set of mice were genetically programmed to produce more amyloid-beta proteins (the proteins that clog the brains of Alzheimer’s patients), and the other set was healthy.
But then researchers did something fascinating.
They took the blood from the Alzheimer’s mice (which was filled with amyloid proteins) and put it in the healthy mice.
And the brains of the healthy mice were destroyed.
Notice something: the brain-destroying plaques weren’t coming from the brains of the healthy mice, they were coming from the blood of the sick mice.
This means most of amyloid proteins are produced in the body and make their way to the brain – they don’t start in the brain.
While scientists are still confused why these proteins are created, they look strangely like Advanced Glycation End Products (or AGEs). AGEs are produced when sugar binds to a protein and causes that protein to change shape. Proteins that change shape are proteins that cause disease (cataracts are an example of misshapen proteins).
Glyceraldhyde-derived AGEs have been identified as a major source of Alzheimer's disease and driving the production of amyloid plaques.
What does this all mean?
It means you must keep your blood sugar under control if you want to keep your brain into old age.
How? Let me show you:
Dr. Scott’s Balanced Blood Sugar Approach:
- Eat Good Food: This means avoiding processed foods, eating healthy proteins, and consuming as many veggies as you can. Staying away from sugar, grains, and starchy vegetables also helps. If you are going to eat sugar, then do it near a meal (this slows down the absorption of sugar).
- Exercise: Don’t feel you must run a marathon to be in shape, but walking, golfing, tennis can all help your body deal with sugar more effectively.
- Inflammation: Take supplements that keep your inflammation low: I like fish oil, curcumin, and Boswellia.
- Berberine: This herbal extract is great for the brain and helps to control blood sugar.
- Chromium: This mineral is well-known to help control blood sugar.
Keeping your brain healthy is as easy as keeping your blood sugar stable.
