Stealth Disease is WRECKING Your Heart

We’ve known forever that diabetes increases your risk of heart disease.

In fact, lots of diabetics end up dying from heart problems.

So if you don’t have diabetes, you’re out of the woods, right?

Not exactly.

There’s actually a stealth blood sugar problem that may be slowly damaging your heart.

And you might not know you have it until it’s too late.

New research suggests that it is not only people who are diabetic who are at risk for heart problems.

Anyone whose blood sugar varies wildly is in harm’s way.

And that includes millions of Americans, including non-diabetics.

The study showed that high blood sugar creates two problems:

  • The first is that it increases oxidative damage to cells and DNA. In oxidative damage, free radicals take bits out of DNA or cells and this causes those cells to stop working well or die.
  • High blood sugar creates glycated proteins (a protein/sugar combined molecule). These proteins are misshapen, which keeps them from functioning properly.

When you increase oxidative damage and you add in misshapen proteins, you have the recipe for disease to strike.

Blood sugar, though, can be controlled easily. And many of these things are worth trying even if you’re not diabetic.

Dr. Scott’s Balanced Blood Sugar Approach:

  • Berberine: This herbal extract is great for the brain and helps to control blood sugar.
  • Chromium: This mineral is well-known to help manage blood sugar.
  • Eat well: This means avoiding processed foods, and eating good proteins and as many veggies as you can. Staying away from sugar, grains, and starchy vegetables also helps. If you are going to eat sugar, then do it near a meal (this slows down the absorption of sugar).
  • Exercise: Don’t feel like you have to run a marathon to be in shape, but walking, golfing, swimming, and tennis can all help your body deal with sugar more effectively.
  • Inflammation: Buy some cheap health insurance by taking supplements which keep your inflammation low: I like fish oil, curcumin, and Boswellia.
