Prostate Cancer Warning Signs (Do You Have Them?)

I had a patient tell me once that he wished our bodies came with warning lights, like our cars.

Any time your oil needs to be changed… or there’s a problem with your engine… a light turns on.

So why can’t our bodies do the same thing?

Believe it or not, they do.

There are actually warning signs for just about any disease you can imagine.

That’s especially true for prostate cancer.

And identifying the warning signs early is the key to getting the upper hand on this deadly disease.

There are over 40,000 new cases of prostate cancer every year.

Prostate cancer just leap-frogged breast cancer as the most deadly cancer in America.

But how do you know if there is a problem with your prostate?

The four symptoms you should look out for include:

  • Increased Frequency: Measuring urinary frequency can be a tricky. Many things in our diets act as diuretics (which increase urination), but these effects usually don’t last long. The key to knowing if you have increased frequency is if you must urinate more than every few hours or if you are getting up a lot at night to go to the bathroom AND you’re not drinking a ton of water.
  • Slow to start:  If you stand and wait a while before you can get going, this is another sign you might have prostate problems.
  • Poor stream: A poor stream is a weak flow or one that starts and stops a lot.
  • Dribble at the end: This can be related to poor stream, but means you have drops falling out at the end (more than just a few).

Even if you have all these symptoms, you can fix the problem.

I would always suggest you visit your doctor and have tests to make sure you’re having prostate problems.  Often, prostate problems can be confused for diabetes because of similar signs like increased urination.

Here are some natural supplements you can take to help your prostate:

  • Turmeric, an herb that has powerful anti-cancer properties when concentrated.
  • Medical mushrooms, such as reishi, Coriolus versicolor, maitake, and others to give your immune system the boost it needs to fight cancer.
  • Fish oil will help drop inflammation throughout the body.
