How to “Age-Proof” Your Body (It’s EASY)
We all know that time takes a toll on your body.
There’s an old saying – “Father Time is undefeated.”
But here’s the thing – it’s up to YOU how quickly you age.
We’ve all seen heavy smokers, drinkers, or drug users who are 40 but look 60.
And we all know that 75-year-old guy who looks 50 and is out on the golf course every week.
The fact is, there’s PLENTY you can do to slow aging to a crawl.
I’ll let you in on some of the secrets.
Health scientists have scoured the scientific literature and here is what they say will give you the best chances of slowing the aging process:
Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally: Yes, there are drugs that reduce blood pressure, but those do nothing to change how long you will live. Start by reducing stress by using calming nutrients. Foods high in magnesium and potassium are especially good to lower blood pressure. Make sure you exercise as often as you can and try saunas.
Stop Heart Attacks: Heart attacks are preventable. The first step is to keep your blood sugar under control (I’ll discuss this more in a moment), and avoid trans fats and vegetable oils found in fast and processed foods.
Gum Health: This sounds strange, but taking care of your gums is very important because of all the bad bacteria that can flourish and lead to increased, whole-body inflammation. Yes, brush and floss, but also consider using a tea tree oil mouthwash.
Maintain Blood Sugar: Uncontrolled blood sugar is one of the worst things you can do for your health. Yes, you need to eat well and exercise, but also make sure you are taking the nutrients your body needs to help control blood sugar (think chromium, vanadium, curcumin, and berberine).
Maintain a Healthy Weight: Most people think weight loss is a mystery when it’s not. You need to eat well and exercise, but you must also make sure you are giving yourself an advantage by taking the right nutrients. Try Sphaeranthus indicusand Garcinia mangostana, herbs that support easy weight loss.
Keep Your Joints Healthy: Not having healthy joints will slow you down. Slowing down in old age is one of the worst things you can do. It steals your muscles away – and lack of muscles and lean body mass quickens your path to an early grave. Take collagen, vitamin C, and other joint-healthy nutrients.
Antioxidant Protection: Protect your body from chemicals and free radicals by taking vitamin E, selenium, CoQ10, astaxanthin, polyphenols, and other good nutrients.
