Stress is KILLING You (Here’s How to Stop It)

Stress can really turn your life upside down.

And when left unchecked… it can wreak havoc on your health.

Conditions like high blood pressure heart disease and even diabetes have all been linked to stress.

But what if you could STOP stress for good?

I know it sounds too good to be true… but it’s NOT.

Today, I will show you how to put an end to the stress in your life once and for all.

Stress is your body’s natural response to a threat.

The way it works in the natural world is this: When you’re threatened (by a tiger, or a snake…) or your crazy neighbor yells at you, your body releases a flood of chemicals that throw your body into “fight or flight” mode.

Those chemicals (mostly hormones) do their job really well.

And when the threat has passed, your body stops releasing these chemicals.

But in our modern way-too-fast world your body never gets a chance to rebalance its chemistry… and that’s when the stress-related damage starts.

It’s this long-term stress that can be especially dangerous as ongoing, high cortisol levels can lead to the many issues:

  • Heartburn
  • Insomnia
  • Heart disease
  • Weak immune system
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Stomach problems
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Lost libido
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

And the longer stress goes unmanaged, the worse the consequences are on your health.

That’s why managing stress is essential to your long-term health.

Let me show you.

Dr. Scott’s Plan for STOPPING Stress

  • Exercise: Almost every exercise helps drop stress hormones. You may not feel like it, but getting out and walking will help you feel better.
  • Reduce stress: This may sound like stupid obvious advice, but I’ve often found that most people KNOW what to do, they don’t do it. Only you know the best way to help reduce your stress. Maybe start by talking to friends, spending time with a church leader or a counsellor… whatever works for you (just do it!).
  • Feed Your Brain: Your brain is starving for nutrients that support function and kill inflammation. Make sure you are getting fish oil (EPA/DHA) every day. I also like curcumin and bacopa because they both support brain and reduce inflammation throughout the body.
