URGENT Drug Warning for Seniors

During the holiday season, we all know how too much a good thing can go bad.

Too much of Uncle Doug’s eggnog… too much of Cousin Bertie’s pumpkin pie… and even too much of Uncle Doug and Cousin Bertie can jeopardize your health.

Well, it looks like the mainstream has taken the “holiday” approach to a certain type of drug…

Now, we’re all PAYING THE PRICE.

Because a new study finds that the overprescribing of these meds is setting you up for DANGEROUS side effects… especially if you’re a senior.

And there’s a good chance you’re taking one now.

This might surprise you, but I think antibiotics are one of conventional medicine’s greatest gifts.

The only problem? We took that gift and squandered it.

Believe me, if you have a serious infection, you want antibiotics on your side.

But the mainstream’s outright ABUSE of these drugs has made them useless in the face of some serious infections.

Even worse? They’re causing DANGEROUS side effects in countless seniors.

In a recent study, published in Neurology, researchers analyzed 391 case reports of seniors taking one or more classes of antibiotics – like sulfonamides, ciprofloxacin cefepime, and penicillin – looking for dangerous side effects.

And boy, did they find some!

These results showed:

  • 70% experienced abnormal brain activity
  •  47% had delusions or hallucinations
  • 25% of those who had delusions also had kidney failure
  • 15% developed involuntary muscle twitching
  • And 14% suffered from seizures.

Brain issues… hallucinations… AND seizures.

No thanks!

These scary side effects and the decrease of their effectiveness are the reason antibiotics should only be used in a last-ditch effort.

It’s crucial to ask you doc WHY they’re prescribing antibiotics EVERYIME. If it’s for a virus, they WON’T WORK… and it’s not worth the risk to take them.

And always take a probiotic. As they say, the best offense is a good defense, and loading up your gut with good bacteria might be the best way to nip infections in the bud.

Here are some other ways to fight infections naturally:

Dr. Scott’s Favorite Natural Antibiotics

  • Eat powerful plants. Garlic, onions, ginger and spices such as oregano and turmeric can give your immune system the support it needs to kill invading bacteria.
  • Make sure you get enough vitamins. Vitamin D, vitamin K, vitamin C and vitamin A all have immune supporting properties.
  • Supercharge your immune system with herbs. Certain herbs, such as Goldenseal, echinacea, oregano oil, olive leaf extract, all help to give your immune system the boost it needs to protect your body.
