Weird Signs Your Gut Is BROKEN
We’ve all had stomach trouble before.
You know what I’m talking about. Those days you can’t stay off the throne… or worse, you can’t seem to “go”.
These are the obvious signs that you have tummy troubles.
But what if I told you that your achy joints… your mood swings… and even those extra pounds you’re carry are all signs that your gut is BROKEN?
Well, it’s true.
Fortunately, there are easy ways to END your tummy trouble – and the health issues it causes – FOR GOOD.
You gut is incredibly complex.
It’s home to a collection of bacteria –called your microbiome – which helps regulate your immune system and produces the hormones and neurotransmitters that that are vital for good health.
But when there’s an imbalance in your microbiome, it causes inflammation and other immune responses that can affect your health in many ways.
If you’re noticing any of the following symptoms, research shows that you may have a gut imbalance:
- Anxiety
- Autoimmune disorders
- Depression
- Difficulty concentrating
- Digestive problems like gas and bloating
- Fatigue
- Food sensitivities or allergies
- Joint pain
- Mood swings
- Skin issues like acne, eczema, and rosacea
- And weight gain.
There are certainly good natural medicines to help with any of these conditions, but one of the best way to battle them is to start by improving your gut health.
Dr. Scott’s Better Gut Program:
- Cut the Sugars: Avoid soda and any food that is too sugary (as much as you can).
- Use Salt: Government nutritional propaganda has us all fearing salt – but don’t believe it, salt is a necessary element in your body. Salt is necessary to make hydrochloric acid in your stomach and the acid is needed to keep bad bacteria down and digest foods properly.
- Collagen: Collagen supplementation has been shown to help improve digestive health.
- Prebiotic and Probiotic: I like a probiotic product that has fiber (prebiotic) and good bacteria (probiotics) and strongly believe in eating fermented foods (such as sauerkraut, yogurt, miso and others).
- Digestive Enzymes: Digestive enzymes take large pieces of food and break them down into smaller parts, so nutrients can be absorbed into our bloodstream. Without proper digestive enzymes, your food never gets used by your body. You can supplement with digestive enzymes to help support your body’s natural digestive process
- Food Intolerances: This is probably the hardest step because uncovering food allergies and intolerances is hard. Diary is a very common intolerance, but so are wheat and corn.
- Avoid Antibiotics: If you need antibiotics, then take them but make sure you follow up afterwards with good probiotics to help rebuild your digestive health.
