Numbness and Tingling? You Must READ This

I see it all the time in my senior patients.

They’re afflicted with painful tingling and numbness from their arms and legs to their fingers and toes.

But this condition isn’t just annoying and uncomfortable.

It can be the sign of something going seriously wrong inside your body.

Let me show you.

As you age, your nerves can become damaged and start to fail. And it’s this failure that leads to the tingling and numbness in your extremities.

But nerve damage isn’t just linked to age. It can also be caused by nutritional deficiencies and blood sugar issues.

If you are missing nutrients, it is almost always these:

  • Vitamin B12
  • Potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Vitamin E
  • And calcium.

If you suspect you’re not getting enough of these nutrients, it’s probably time to talk to you doc about supplementation or dietary changes.

More commonly, though, numbness and tingling come from poor blood sugar control. This is called diabetic neuropathy which can lead to nerve damage in the feet and hands.

You will usually first experience numbness in the feet and this can be the first sign of diabetes.

So, it’s important to have your blood sugar checked if you have a family history of blood sugar problems, or you suspect you currently have issues.

If you already know you have blood sugar problems, then make sure you work on improving your diet by eating more protein and non-starchy vegetables.

You might also consider taking chromium and berberine (an herbal extract) to help your body deal with sugar.

And you can improve your nerve health further by following this protocol.

Dr. Scott’s Solution for Numbness and Tingling:

  • Make sure you have those basic nutrients: B vitamins, magnesium, calcium, potassium and vitamin E.
  • COQ10: This antioxidant/enzyme is found throughout our bodies and is used for energy production. Nerves need energy to function and CoQ10 is a great source. But CoQ10 goes beyond that, it is also a powerful antioxidant that works both inside and outside the cells.
  • Mitochondrial Support: Mitochondria are the energy-producing motors of our cells. Supplement with CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid, astaxanthin, selenium, and vitamin E to give your brain-energy a boost.
