Swapping out packaged foods for fresh poultry, seafood and produce will also significantly reduce your carb intake.

If you have blood sugar problems, then you probably have a glucometer. Try testing individual foods and see what it does to your blood sugar. You can use the glycemic index if you don’t want to go through all that trouble. Eating foods low on the glycemic index will help you keep your blood sugar level.
#3 Exercise
Exercise helps you burn excess sugar, so it doesn’t build up in your bloodstream. And, if you go for a walk or any form of exercise one-half hour to an hour after you eat, you can see good results. Do the right kind of exercises – like swimming and biking – to build up your muscle mass this will also help to lower your blood sugar.
#4 Take Berberine
Berberine is a natural substance found in certain herbs shown to reduce blood glucose levels. It is so effective that scientists and doctors have compared the effects of berberine to the diabetes drug Metformin.
