The SHOCKING Truth About E-cigarettes
It’s no secret that smoking is bad for you.
We’ve known for decades that cigarettes can damage your heart and send your cancer risk through the roof.
And if you’re like the millions of other Americans trying to kick the cancer sticks, you might’ve picked up an electronic cigarette (e-cigarettes).
But these “safe smokes” aren’t doing your health any favors.
Because the FDA is finally alerting e-cigarette users to their dangers.
And if you’re one of them, you could be on the fast track to a serious seizure!
The FDA has recently linked 32 cases of seizure and e-cigarette use.
And this should come as no surprise, really.
You see, e-cigarettes are widely unregulated. And because of this, their ingredients aren’t tested or in some cases even know.
This means that e-cigarette manufacturers can add any combination of chemicals to their formula, without warning the consumer
Even worse? Studies show that the nicotine content advertised on the package is often nowhere close to being accurate and some of these e-cigarettes have WAY more nicotine than the label states.
Nicotine is well–known to cause seizures at very high doses. But we normally don’t see this in people because it’s very difficult to ingest that much nicotine at one time.
But if you take an E–cigarette with a large amount of nicotine and other unknown chemicals, it could be a recipe for seizures.
To be clear, the cases in question by the FDA involve mostly younger people.
But that doesn’t mean e-cigarettes are safe for us older folks either.
A new study by European researchers shows that e-cigarette use leads to stiffening of arteries – which is the exact same thing traditional cigarettes do to your blood vessels. Hardening of the arteries can lead to heart attack, stroke, and other heart complications.
If you’re trying to quit smoking, stay away from e-cigarettes.
Instead, try 5-HTP supplements, which can help reduce cravings.
