Easy Habit Makes Your Brain 2 Years Younger!
Your mainstream doc will tell you that there’s no way to escape dementia as you grow older…
Live long enough, they’ll say, and you will get Alzheimer’s.
But I say that’s a bunch of BULL.
Because there’s a guaranteed way to NEVER get dementia.
Anyone can do it… and you can get started today.
Your best chance to avoid getting Alzheimer’s is to keep your brain as big as possible.
Sounds simple enough, right?
Most people know that as they age their body shrinks and get smaller. And this is also too true of your brain: it gets smaller as you get older.
It is well known that the volume and weight of your brain decline with age.
If you are typical, you lose around 5 percent of your brain mass per decade after your 40th birthday.
By the time you hit 50 years old, you have lost 5 percent. When you hit 60, you have lost 10 percent…
Even worse? Brain-loss is not a straight line and brain loss really accelerates after you turn 70.
But here is the thing: brain shrinkage doesn’t have to happen to you.
A recent study, taking data from the famous Framingham Heart Study, finds that the more you exercise… the more brain volume you have.
AND the researchers found that it didn’t take much exercise to make a difference.
The 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans suggests 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week.
BUT if you do an additional hour of exercise per week, you shave off 1-2 years of brain aging.
In other words, doing just 3.5 hours a week (or a half hour a day) can reduce your brain age by up to TWO YEARS!
And this doesn’t mean you have to train for a marathon.
Instead, try walking to do errands, take the stairs, bike, play golf, and work in the garden.
