Delicious Diet Gives You SUPER Hearing

When it comes to your five senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, taste), you’re probably scared to lose your sight the most.
And with good reason… we make recognized danger and navigate our world through sight.

But what most people don’t realize is losing your hearing is often more devastating than losing eyesight.

Because not being able to hear blocks communication… making it harder to talk to and connect with people.  And it also increases your risk of developing dementia.

Now, you don’t have to worry about this happening to you.

You see, there’s a delicious diet that can slash your risk of hearing loss by 30 percent!

And it includes some of your favorite foods.

Eating a Mediterranean diet will help you fight heart disease… Alzheimer’s… and even cancer.

And now we know it can protect you from hearing loss, too.

In a recent study, researchers tracked hearing loss and diets of over 3,000 women for three years.

At the end, they found that folks who ate more, vegetables, beans, leafy greens, seafood, and fish were less likely to report their hearing getting worse as they grew older.

How big of a difference did the diet make? A 30 percent decrease in hearing loss.

And that’s because specific nutrients found in this diet – like carotenoids from carrots and oranges, folate from leafy greens and legumes, and omega-3 fatty acids from fish –  directly impact parts of your ear and brain that are responsible for hearing.

As you know, I champion a low-carb diet but that doesn’t mean you should ignore vegetables.

In fact, the opposite, there are many good, low-sugar vegetables such as leafy green, broccoli, onions, mushrooms… that your body needs.

And plants contain carotenoids, polyphenols, folic acid, omega-3 fatty acids (as well as antioxidant production) – all of which are directly linked to preventing hearing loss as you age.

The good news? You can get all of these foods by following the Mediterranean diet.

This diet includes foods like olive oil, leafy greens, vegetables, nuts, berries, poultry, and wild-caught seafood. And it excludes processed foods like crackers, cookies, chips and other high-carb foods.

This diet is proven to help seniors improve their heart health, blood sugar, and digestive – so even if you’re not worried about your hearing there are other good reasons to eat these foods
