[ALERT] Ladies — This DOUBLES Your Heart Attack Risk!

“What can I do about this?”

My patient Margret shoved a printout of a study into my hands.

I could tell she was upset. And as I began to read the study, I was STUNNED.

Margret had CLEAR cause for worry… and a good reason to come to me right away.

See, the study tackled an epidemic that’s KILLING women every day.

I’m talking about heart attacks.

And you could be at risk for one right now.

The biggest heart attack risk for women is something every single one goes through: menopause.

And if menopause came a little earlier for you than most women, you need to read this.

Most women transition into menopause around their 50th birthday. But premature menopause will affect many women—any woman who experienced menopause before the age of 45 is in danger.

While many women are happy to say goodbye to their period, the earlier the better is NOT the case here. Because here’s the ugly truth:

Early menopause DOUBLES your risk of a heart attack before the age of 60.

The reason premature menopause is so hard on your heart has to do with estrogen

When it comes to menopause, there’s a lot your mainstream doctor will talk to you about: hot flashes, mood swings, even embarrassing dryness… but what he doesn’t spend enough time on is hormone changes.

As you might already know, you lose estrogen during menopause.

This is a big problem, because estrogen plays a vital role in your heart health. You see, estrogen keeps your blood coursing through your arteries by keeping them open.

So when you lose estrogen, you’re at risk for quickly-narrowing arteries that can easily get clogged… and the next thing you know, you’re a prime target for angina, heart attack, and stroke.

You might think the answer is adding estrogen back in through pill or injection. But sadly, it’s NOT.

While it’s true estrogen is protective for your heart, this doesn’t mean synthetic estrogen is. Large scale studies show that synthetic estrogen does the opposite – it harms your heart even more.

In truth, we all have higher risks for certain diseases depending on many factors unique to us: our genetics, where we live, how well we eat, how much exercise we get….

Early menopause just means you should take extra care of your heart.

Start with the basics:

  • Don’t smoke
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Eat a healthy diet full of wild caught seafood, colorful produce, and olive oil
  • Get some exercise.

And if you experienced early menopause, make sure you talk to your doctor today to make a game plan to lower your heart attack risk.
