Next, they gave each patient an MRI to measure the amount of gray and white matter in their brains.
And research showed clear as day, that your total volume of gray matter is DIRECTLY related to how much exercise you do.
Exercise increases your peak oxygen uptake, delivering fresh oxygen to your cells and increasing gray matter volume.
Start by taking a brisk 30-minute walk around your neighborhood. You can even divide the 30-minute walk into three 10 minute walks. Just make sure you’re getting your heart rate up.
