“Liquid Gold” SLASHES Heart Attack Risk 15%

Your doctor has all kinds of suggestions for improving your heart. He’ll have you revamping your diet, taking all kinds of medicines, tell you to start up a new exercise routine.  

While diet and exercise are certainly important, there’s an easier way to reduce your risk of a heart attack. 

And it’s probably hiding in your kitchen right now.  

Recently a research team from Harvard University compiled information on the health of nearly 100,000 people who they followed for 24 years.   

After looking at many health parameters, they found a half a tablespoon of olive oil every day slashes heart attack risk by 15 percent.  

See, the fats you choose to put in your body on a daily basis have a big effect on your health.  

Researchers crunched data from 63,867 women (from the Nurses’ Health Study) and 35,512 men (from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study) to find out which fats improved health.  

They looked at many fats including corn oil, canola oil, sunflower, soybean, and margarine.  

Olive oil was the only oil which made a difference, dropping your heart attack risk by 15 percent.  

A massive number of studies have found that olive oil (especially extra virgin olive oil) is beneficial for your long-term health. Scientists chalk it up to a fatty acid called oleic acid which plays an important role in reducing inflammation.  

Most vegetable and seed oils (corn, canola, safflower, soybean…) are pro-inflammatory and wreak havoc on your body.  

Olive oil is a major part of the Mediterranean Diet. This diet has shown to improve many aspects of health (including heart health, brain health, and longevity).  

Slashing your risk of heart attack by 15 percent is a big deal because, frighteningly enough, 25 percent of all deaths every year are directly tied to heart disease 

Olive oil and avocado oil are the only liquid oils in my house. So if this isn’t an oil you cook with regularly, I strongly encourage you to add it to your grocery list and make it a regular mealtime addition.
