Put an END to Knee Pain for Good

Dear Reader,

Fourth of July probably looks a lot different this year… but regardless, I hope you are able to safely enjoy the holiday. Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy Independence Day!

And without further ado… I’d like to ask you a question – what is knee pain keeping you from doing?

Maybe you can’t play with your grandkids, or work in the garden. Maybe the thought of even a round of golf with your buddies makes you cringe, just imagining the pain you’d be in

Doctors all over the world say that there is no cure for your pain, which is most likely the spawn of arthritis. If you go to your mainstream doc, I’m willing to bet they’ll hand you some dangerous pain killers that only work for a short while.

Fortunately, a new research study has discovered a way to FINALLY banishing your pain for good.

I’m talking about prolotherapy.

Even though prolotherapy isn’t a household name, it’s actually been around for a long time.

Prolotherapy is the injection of a small amount of sugar water (technically Intra-articular dextrose prolotherapy) into arthritic joints.

While it sounds strange, a recent study, published in The Annuals of Family Medicine, has discovered just how effective it is.

The researchers randomly assigned 76 patients with arthritis in the knee to normal saline injections or dextrose injections and followed them for four weeks.

The people with the dextrose prolotherapy dropped over 10 points on a pain scale. The researchers concluded that dextrose prolotherapy REDUCED pain, improved function, AND quality of life – with no side-effects!

This is no insignificant finding. Knee pain can be debilitating for anyone who has it. People with chronic knee pain are more likely to gain weight, be unable to exercise, and become isolated (from staying at home).

My suggestion? Do some research and ask your doctor about prolotherapy. If it’s not widely available where you live, you have other options to reduce your knee pain.

And don’t just rely on a corticosteroid injection (what your mainstream doc will likely suggest). These come with their own set of complications and – moreover – they don’t work.

Instead, there are many natural ways to support good joint health.

Dr. Scott’s Four-Step Arthritis Solution:

  • Feed your joints: Make sure you have enough basic building blocks. Collagen, eggshell membrane, and vitamin C are all great sources of nutrients your joints need. These supplements are all widely available online.
  • Stop Inflammation: Inflammation is lowered by avoiding vegetable oils, processed foods, and by eating a low-sugar diet. Fish oil is my favorite anti-inflammatory and I like curcumin and Boswellia as well.
  • Diet: Eat good proteins and fish a few times a week.
  • Exercise: Joints become stronger when you exercise. Don’t try for anything crazy, simple walking can do wonders.

Don’t take the “there is no cure for arthritis” as fact.
