50% of the World’s Population Have THIS Disorder

The frightening fact is, one of your body’s most important systems could be under siege right now.  

It’s not your heart, or your brain (though don’t get me wrong, they’re important too).  

It’s a system that gets your body almost everything it needs to stay healthy. So YOU NEED to make sure is working at its peak if you want a long, healthy life.  

But unfortunately, a recent study shows that almost 50 percent of the world’s population suffer with a disorder that wreaks HAVOC on this crucial system.

Believe it or not, nearly half of all adults worldwide are living with some kind of gastrointestinal disorder. 

Your digestive system is what gets your body it’s nutrients, it’s fuel  — everything that keeps it strong and healthy. So this system is less than 100%, your body takes a hit.  

A study, published in the journal Gastroenterology, surveyed over 73,000 people in thirty-three countries and found that almost half of people have at least one functional gastrointestinal disorder. 

The researchers were SHOCKED by how similar the findings were throughout the world 

A functional gastrointestinal disorder is anything from indigestion, heartburn, bloating, acid reflux, constipation, to irritable bowel syndrome. 

And if half of all people have some disease, you have to ask why? 

The answer is simple: most people aren’t eating the foods they should eat.   

The Standard American Diet (SAD diet) has taken over the world – we’re all eating foods that our digestive tract is not designed to handle.   

But, there is a lot you can do to improve your gut health. 

Dr. Scott’s Gut Health Program: 

  • Probiotics are your easiest path to a healthy digestive system. I prefer a probiotic product that contains a fiber prebiotic along with good bacteria (probiotics). 
  • Eat enough fiber to not only help with regular bowel movements, but to also help stimulate healthy bacterial growth. I always suggest people choose both water-soluble and water-insoluble fiber. One of my favorite fibers is ground flax seeds. 
  • Throw away junk food, trans fats, processed, and chemical foods. All processed foods, trans fatty acids, artificial sweeteners, and alcohol harm gut bacteria. Do what you can to limit these non-foods in your diet. 
  • Exercise doesn’t seem like the first place you would turn to help your digestive tract, but it has been shown to help encourage a healthy microbiome. 

Your gut health is more important than we ever realized and now, it may be our key living a long and healthy life.
