“Forgotten” Vitamin Reduces Risk of DEATH by 20%!

Dear Reader,

There are many reasons you might follow me and my daily articles. I’m willing to bet one reason is because you want to take care of yourself and live your BEST life.

And believe me, I want to help you do just that.

Maybe you already exercise (when you can) and you do your best to eat well and take the right supplements.

But I want to tell you about one vitamin most people forget about. It’s one that has an ENORMOUS impact on your health – and I don’t want you to be one of the majority who are missing out.

I’m talking about vitamin K.

Vitamin K is not one of the “cool kids” that everyone loves… like Vitamin C or Vitamin D.

When I mention Vitamin K, most people look at me like I have two heads.

“What does Vitamin K do?” They ask.

This is so unfortunate, because Vitamin K can offer some serious health and longevity benefits! Especially as you get older.

Researchers at Tufts University published a study recently in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition involving Vitamin K.

The study team found that older adults with low levels of Vitamin K were much more likely to pass away in comparison to those who have enough Vitamin K.

This was no small study; the researchers examined close to 4,000 Americans between the ages of 54 and 76.

The study team followed these people for 13 years and found that those with the lowest levels of Vitamin K in their blood had an almost 20 percent greater chance of dying over the study duration!

You see, Vitamin K is very important for your blood vessel health. There are many essential proteins in blood vessel tissue that require Vitamin K to function properly. These proteins help prevent calcium from building up in artery walls (creating clots in the heart or brain).

Vitamin K also helps to keep your blood vessels elastic and soft (which helps lower blood pressure).

You can easily find Vitamin K in leafy greens such as lettuce, kale, and spinach.

Now, some people will tell you can also get Vitamin K in vegetable oils (like soybean or canola oil). Please heed my advice: don’t do that!

Vegetable oils greatly increase inflammation in your body! Which undermines and any benefit you would get from the insignificant amount of Vitamin K in those oils.

So, if you don’t eat enough of the green leafy vegetables, you may want to consider supplements in order to get your daily Vitamin K.
