Bone-Boosting Nutrient REDUCES Fractures!

Dear Reader,

You could probably drink milk all day long and still suffer from weak bones.

That’s because the hard fact is, no animal on Earth consumes AS MUCH calcium as humans do, but yet we still have some of the weakest bones on the planet.

Why?

Well, according to new research, the REAL cause of bone loss has NOTHING to do with calcium.

Instead, keeping healthy bones boils down to getting the right nutrients. And there’s one key nutrient you might be skimping out on.

Without it…you might just be sending your risk of fractures through the ROOF.

If you’ve talked to your mainstream medical doctor, they’ll tell you that the research doesn’t support the use of Vitamin D to keep bones healthy.

Even though 75 percent of people don’t get enough Vitamin D!

That is a health tragedy!

A recent study published the journal Clinical Rheumatology combined the research many different studies (called a systemic review and meta-analysis).

They concluded that the combination of Vitamin D AND calcium can greatly reduce fractures.

This is important because especially as you age, a broken bone is a fast track to the grave.

I know that might sound a bit dramatic, but it’s true. Most older people who break a bone have a substantial reduction in their longevity.

The reason a broken bone is so deadly has to do with slow healing as we get older and sitting in a bed reduces muscle mass (and remember, having a good muscle mass is a key to living a long life).

BUT let’s not stop with only vitamin D – healthy bones are so much more.

Dr. Scott’s Healthy Bone Plan:

  • Protein is the forgotten nutrient needed for good bone health. Most proteins will help with bone growth, but collagen is extremely important to build good bones. I take a powered collagen product because collagen is hard to get in our diets. Vitamin C works with protein to create a collagen matrix.
  • Vitamin D is one of the more important nutrients you can take to help build good strong bones.
  • Vitamin K is another necessary and forgotten nutrient essential for bone building. Remember, if you are on blood thinners, to check with your doctor when taking vitamin K.
  • Many minerals are also important for your bone health, including magnesium, boron, and chromium.
  • Exercise not only helps your muscles to grow, but your bones. To build strong bones you have to move your body around (walking and running are your best bets).
