[BREAKING] How to SLASH Your Risk for ALL Diseases

Dear Reader,

As you grow older, your risk for diseases like diabetes, heart disease and cancer, just to name a few, all skyrocket.

Your mainstream doc will tell you there’s simply nothing you can do about itit’s just what happens the longer you’re living on this planet…

But here’s the catch.

What if that old-school belief ISN’T true?

Would you believe me if I said there IS something you can do that can dramatically reduce your risk for all diseases?

The best part? You have to look no further than your kitchen.

A new study, published in the journal Nutrition and Metabolism, found improvements in body composition, fat distribution, metabolic health when older adults took part in an 8 week very low-carbohydrate diet.

The study team looked at a low-carbohydrate diet to see how it effects fat, weight and lean body mass in an older population.

They looked at lean body mass (or muscle mass) because that effects blood sugar control and weight management (as well as diseases like diabetes, heart disease…).

After eight weeks (despite recommendations to eat as much food as they wanted) the group consuming a very low-carbohydrate diet lost more weight in total fat mass and MAINTAINED lean body mass in comparison to those who ate normally.

The low-carb eaters boosted their insulin sensitivity and their lipid profile (cholesterol, LDL, HDL…).

They also SLASHED their risk for type 2 diabetes by improving their body composition. They even reduced the risk for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (a common liver disease caused by eating too much sugar and foods that act like sugar).

It’s interesting, because a major component of their low-carb diet was eggs — and yet they still saw cholesterol drop!

The best part? There are even MORE benefits to a low carb diet – especially when it comes to your brainRead more about these benefits, here.

So, is it normal for people to gain weight and get more diseases as they grow older?

The answer is yes, MOST people do gain weight and tend to get sicker as they age. But don’t let the number of birthday candles on your cake determine your outcome.

As I like to say, don’t be most people! To do this, a low-carb diet is a good place to start.

P.S. Suffering with brain fog? Finding yourself forgetting names and places more often than you’d like? A low carb diet could be the answer to your prayers. Find out more about how this kind of diet can be especially beneficial when it comes to your brain health, here.
