Surefire Way to Prevent Sickness!

Sometimes it feels like there’s really nothing you can do to stop yourself from getting sick.

After all, colds, flus, and even COVID-19 just randomly happen to people.

You might feel like, aside from wearing a mask and washing your hands, you’re doing all you can do to prevent an illness from striking.

But there’s something else you should add to your sick-prevention repertoire…

I always tell people there’s one thing they should do: take a multivitamin.

It might sound cliché, but I promise, it’s not.

Multivitamins fill in nutritional gaps (in case you don’t eat as well as you should) and it makes you healthier and more resilient to infection.

And now there’s research to back me up:

A new study, published in the journal Nutrients, found that people taking a multivitamin had improved immune systems.

What does that mean?

The scientists in the study found people taking a multivitamin had white blood cells which excelled at killing incoming pathogens.

And, when people caught an illness (cold or flu) they reported FEWER symptoms and the cold went away faster than the placebo group by almost half!

This is especially important as people grow older. See, your r immune system starts to falter if you don’t get enough of the right nutrients to function.

This is no surprise because many studies suggest that more than 1/3 of older adults are deficient in least one vitamin or mineral (and often more than one).

(Sometimes, even if you’ve done everything right – you still feel a cold coming on. Send it up and packing fast with some of my best tips. .)

Your immune system (and the rest of your body) needs the right nutrients in order to function well.

So to really get your immune system humming along, get started on a multivitamin and consider the following tips:

Dr. Scott’s Natural Antibiotic Protection Plan

  • Eat powerful plants – Garlic, onions, ginger and spices such as oregano and turmeric can give your immune system the support it needs to kill invading bacteria.
  • Make sure you get enough vitamins – Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A all have immune supporting properties.
  • Gut/Immune connection – Maybe you have heard how closely tied your immune system is to your gut. Improve your gut health by taking a probiotic every day.
  • Supercharge your immune system – Certain herbs, such as Goldenseal, echinacea, oregano oil, olive leaf extract, all help to give your immune system the boost it needs to protect your body.

P.S. Winter is coming… and you need to stop colds fast. If you’re starting to feel a cold coming on, go here to read about what you can do to kick it to the curb.
