Small but Powerful Fruit Relieves Itch!

Itchy skin. One of the few things that will drive you absolutely crazy. That annoying, skin-crawling feeling that you’d give ANYTHING to make go away.

And the worst part is, your gut instinct – to scratch — only makes it worse. As do any number of treatments you might be told by your mainstream doc to try.

Because no matter the issue – eczema, psoriasis, or allergies – the mainstream treatments will work only, at best, temporarilyAnd those over-the-counter solutions? They’re just as useless.

And that doesn’t even begin to touch on the side effects you may be setting yourself up for…

Fortunately, there’s a way to put an end to those pesky skin issues.

And it all starts with small but powerful fruit.

In a recent study, published in the journal Nutrients, researchers took mice with contact hypersensitivity (this is a condition where the skin turns red and inflames from certain chemicals).

They gave them black raspberries.

Shockingly enough, the mice who got to munch on black raspberries had far less skin inflammation and their swelling reduced FASTER than those who didn’t have the tasty fruit

The great part about black raspberries is – you eat them! Instead of applying a skin cream that reeks, causes ANOTHER rash, or is otherwise usless (like steroid or other anti-inflammatory creams).

This is not the first study to show that black raspberries reduce inflammation

But this study team wanted to know specifically why black raspberries work. They discovered that eating raspberries modulates dendritic cells – specialized cells which modulate the body’s immune system (telling it to react a lot or a little).

If you suffer from skin rashes – allergies or even autoimmune diseases – black raspberries may be the answer to your prayers.

Check local health food stores and markets, black raspberries can be difficult to find, but are well worth the effort and the expense

It’s also worth noting that there’s another natural way to get rid of itchy skin. Read about it here to get some real, effective relief.

And if you really want to reduce inflammation, I suggest hopping on my anti-inflammatory program.

Dr. Scott’s Inflammation-Be-Gone program:

  • There are many powerful natural anti-inflammatories that you should take all the time. These include fish oil, curcumin, Boswellia, and others.
  • Exercise is a great way to keep inflammation in check. Strangely, exercise increases inflammation for about an hour after exercise, but then it plummets to very low levels – resulting in an overall decrease in inflammation.
  • Avoid processed foods and too much sugar. Both sugar and vegetable oils tend to increase inflammation in the body.
  • Eat your veggies. Vegetables have a way of calming inflammation.
  • Take a probiotic. Your immune system (which controls inflammation) is closely tied to the health of your digestive tract. Make sure you are getting enough healthy bacteria by taking a good probiotic.

P.S. The key to ending itchy skin is getting to the root of the problem. Go here to find out how you can put an end to your itchy skin for good.
