[COVID-19] This Trick BLOCKS 95% of Germs!?

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

In a time of uncertainty, there’s one thing we can absolutely be sure about: COVID-19 is going to be with us for a LONG TIME.

Because viruses do what viruses do: they change and evolve over time, making it harder to fight.

So if you’re anything like me, if you hear a GUARANTEED way to protect yourself from COVID-19, you’re probably going to do it.

Yes, you can get the vaccination, and yes, you can socially distance… both of these are proven measures to protect yourself.

But did you know there’s another way to protect yourself from up to 95 percent of coronavirus germs?

And it’s as simple as can be.

Researchers have recently found that wearing two masks can cut viral particles by as much as 95 percent!

You see, mask-wearing works both ways. It blocks your particles from being spread while also protecting you from the particles of those around you. So it makes sense that doubling them up would keep you even safer.

In the study, researchers tested the effectiveness of wearing one person a single mask, then two, then when both people were masked, then double-masked.

A single mask, blocked 44 percent of the wearer’s germs from spreading, while also blocking 42 of the other person’s germs.

And as they added a second mask, the percentage increased drastically— all the way to 83 percent!

But when both participants double-masked, the percentage went up even HIGHER… 95 percent.

What specifically made the difference was if the wearer had on a disposable surgical mask underneath a reusable cloth one.

Double masking works because it reduces the number of virus particles you are exposed to. And fewer particles mean a lower risk of becoming infected.

But fit is also key. Sometimes masks don’t fit very tight, which lowers their effectiveness. No mask provides perfect protection, but you should do the best you can to reduce exposure.

One of the easiest things to do is to put a disposable mask on underneath your reusable cloth one, just like in the study. This is what my family and I do when we go out.

If you wear reusable masks, make sure you have enough so you can keep washing them frequently.

Another option is to buy a mask fitter. The study found that those were able to block the majority of germs as well.

P.S. Masking up isn’t the only way to protect yourself. There’s a MUCH more fun way to bulletproof your immune system. Check it out right here.
