PREDICT Early Alzheimer’s with 88% Accuracy (Wow!)

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

One of the enormous challenges of Alzheimer’s disease is catching it early.

Despite all of the brain scans and blood tests that have been developed, mainstream medicine is still failing to catch dementia and Alzheimer’s in enough time to make a difference.

But now, researchers may be on to something.

A new study has found that this test could predict early Alzheimer’s with 88 percent accuracy.

And it’s something you do almost every day.

*****

A group of researchers from Columbia University found that people’s driving habits can suggest dementia years early.

You might think anyone could notice changes in driving habits, but that’s not always the case.

Using a special computer installed in the cars of almost 3,000 senior drivers, the researchers at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health found that they could predict mild cognitive impairment and dementia with 88 percent accuracy.

This is WAY BEYOND what other current dementia tests can determine.

What’s amazing is their algorithms could detect even just mild cognitive impairment early on in the disease by paying attention to the way people drove.

The researchers reviewed the driving data gathered and found that a few indicators predicted later dementia, including hard braking and frequency and length of trips.

By the end of the nearly two-year study, 33 percent of folks had been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment.

While not everyone can install a computer to monitor the way they drive, it does show that dementia appears way sooner than anyone expected.

This means the best way to protect your brain is to start today.

Dr. Scott’s Brain Protection Plan:

  • Creatine is an amino acid that is good for the brain and helps support energy production.
  • Omega-3 fish oil is an essential fatty acid your brain needs to support its function and protect against oxidation.
  • CoQ10 is powerful antioxidant and helps to provide energy throughout the body.
  • Antioxidants can be vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin C, but I especially like the phytonutrients found in superfood supplement combinations.
  • Herbs such as curcumin and bacopa work to decrease inflammation and act as powerful antioxidants.
