[MEN] This Disease DOUBLES Your Death Risk!

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

Something is stealing the lives of men.

Before our very eyes, our fathers, brothers, and friends are being snatched away at an alarming rate.

And it’s so dark that no one will talk about it.

But today, I’m going to shed some light on the subject.

Researchers have found that if you’re a senior man, this disease could DOUBLE your death risk.

Fortunately, there’s also a way to stop it.

****

A new study found that seniors were more likely to end their lives after receiving an Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis.

After reviewing medical records for 2.6 million seniors, the researchers discovered that folks took their own lives less than 90 days after receiving the bad news.

Sadly, that’s not all. Researchers found that folks were 53 percent more likely to end their lives in the first year of living with dementia.

And when you factor in the evidence that the suicide rate among men 85 or older is the highest in the country, you suddenly get a full picture of the epidemic.

Despite spending billions of dollars, pharmaceutical companies are no closer to a cure than they were 30 years ago. It’s no wonder people who use mainstream medicine are despondent and choose to end their lives.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed recently with dementia or Alzheimer’s—or you’re scared you’ll be next—I understand your fear.

But, don’t give in.

There are many things you can do to lift your spirits and protect your brain from disease progression.

Dr. Scott’s Alzheimer’s Avoiding Plan:

  • Exercise. Getting regular exercise increases a brain chemical called BDNF, which helps prevent the plaques that build up in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients. Even a little exercise can go a long way. Try walking a few minutes every day and see if you can increase that to 30-40 minutes.
  • Curcumin. Many studies have shown that regular consumption of curcumin (in food or supplement form) helps decrease the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Fast. Not eating is a hard thing to do, but some studies have shown that fasting can increase brain-clearing molecules by up to 500 percent. It’s a lot for most people to think about, but I suggest eating breakfast later and dinner earlier to get the benefits without having to go without food.
  • Lose weight. If you need help losing weight, try avoiding simple sugars and balancing your blood sugar with berberine and chromium.
