[ALERT] Are You Missing This Stroke Signal?

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

It’s common knowledge that when it comes to a stroke, timing is everything.

But this doesn’t just apply to WHEN you have a stroke… it applies to prevention as well.

You see, the clock starts ticking before you even have a stroke… but if you know what to look for, you could save yourself from the tragedy.

Researchers have discovered that this stroke signal could tell you if you’re in danger.

I’m going to tell you exactly how to spot it.

*****

If you’ve ever had a migraine, you already know that it’s anything but a normal headache. And if you’re one of those unfortunate folks, you’ll want to listen up.

A new study has linked this particular type of migraine to a higher risk of stroke.

If you see flashing lights, jagged lines, or blind spots in your vision before you get a migraine, then you may be at risk.

In the study at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, researchers used genetic analysis to determine whether or not people with migraines with aura were more likely to have blood-clotting problems.

You see, there are different molecules called hemostatic factors that we all have, and they determine how and when our blood clots. For instance, if you have hemophilia, you don’t have enough blood-clotting factors, leaving you at risk for bleeding to death.

But the opposite is also true… your blood could clot too easily, putting you at risk for stroke.

The researchers found that the participants who suffered from migraines with aura ALSO had these dangerous blood-clotting factors.

If you suffer from migraines with aura and are worried about blood-clotting, you should start by seeing your doctor for a blood test to rule this out.

After that, consider taking one of the following supplements.

Dr. Scott’s Blood-Thinning Protocol:

  • Fish oil. Everyone should be taking omega-3 fish oils. It’s not only a source of essential fatty acids but can help to keep your blood flow healthy.
  • Ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo is an herb that is used to help with brain function, but it also acts as a mild blood thinner.
  • Vitamins. Both vitamin E and B complex vitamins work to help lower stroke risk. Take 1,200 IU of vitamin E as a natural blood thinner. Any good B complex will also work to help lower homocysteine, which is associated with a lower heart attack and stroke risk.

If you’re already on prescription blood thinners, make sure you talk to your doctor before trying one of these natural alternatives.
