[ALERT] Doctors MISSING This Deadly Disease!?
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
You trust your doctor, right?
If you’re like most folks you’ve probably known him for years. You’ve griped to him about everything from your migraines to your sore joints.
He knows your favorite football team as well as he knows your cholesterol numbers.
But still, he might be missing something major.
In a startling new study, researchers have discovered that doctors could be catching this disease only 10 percent of the time.
And the results are deadly.

Currently, there are over six million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease… and that number is expected to more than double in the next 30 years.
But what if that’s just the tip of the iceberg?
In a startling new study, researchers found that most doctors are not doing the cognitive impairment screening required during an official Medicare visit.
The researchers gathered information from a largescale senior health database. And they discovered that only 10 percent of people with dementia said they were tested by their doctor or given a formal diagnosis.
To double-check, researchers reached out to family members and caregivers to confirm. When they reviewed the results again, the number jumped to 25 percent. But that still means 75 percent of people with memory problems are not getting properly diagnosed.
So, what can you do about it?
Ask your doctor to quiz you on your next visit. If you don’t have a visit for a while, you can try an online assessment. I like this quiz from AARP: Is It Normal Memory Loss or Early Dementia?
Then, take small steps to improve and protect your brain. Start by taking care of your heart and getting your blood sugar under control.
Then, add fish oil to your daily regimen. Not only does fish oil help support your brain with healthy fats, but it also helps keep inflammation low.
Being an active participant in your health is the only way to keep your brain from turning into mush as you age.
