Easy Steps to Clear Out Harmful “Zombie Cells” (FAST)

Dear Living Well Daily Readers,

I think it’s fair to say, our bodies can be downright marvelous… as well as strange!

Millions of cells in your body are going through the cycle of being born, living out their lives, and then dying to then be replaced by  new healthy cells.

But this process gets halted when senescent cells start to build up. Senescent cells are essentially “zombie cells” that betray your body by dumping harmful chemicals that damage healthy cells and tissue throughout your body.

These cells aren’t dead, but they’re also not quite alive. Worse still, senescent cells increase inflammation and dysfunction throughout your body.

Senescent cells have been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, nerve disease, heart disease, and diabetes.

So, the question is, how do you get rid of them?

Now, researchers may have a way.

A recent study in the journal Scientific Reports has discovered a way to target AND remove senescent cells.

The researchers are creating a series of antibodies that seek out and attach to senescent cells.

Antibodies are part of your immune system. Their job is to attach to a foreign invader, like a bacteria or virus, and flag it as something bad. If they’ve done their job, this attracts other parts of the immune system, like white blood cells, which can DESTROY the bacteria or virus.

The researchers posit that by “programming” antibodies to hunt senescent cells, they can block the development of heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and many other diseases of aging.

Only time will tell, however.

As for myself, I think that messing with antibodies can be dangerous. After all, we’ve seen how treatments like chemotherapy and radiation – which are supposed to clear out only cancer cells – kill off healthy cells too.

But until their methods get perfected, there is plenty you can do to remove senescent cells.

Dr. Scott’s Senescent Cell Removal Program:

  • By fasting for as little as 24 hours, you can super-charge the removal of senescent cells. When you take away food, your body kickstarts a process called autophagy which begins to clean out the dead and “zombie” cells.
  • One of the best ways to mimic fasting is to exercise, especially if you exercise before you eat anything in the morning. Find something you love to do, like walking, running, biking, swimming, golf, or tennis, and do it as often as you can.
  • Antioxidants. Get plenty of antioxidants in your diet by eating lots of colorful fruits and veggies. If you don’t get enough vegetables, make sure you supplement. I like a superfood blend I mix into my food every day.
  • Resveratrol. This extract from grapes has been shown to help mimic fasting conditions. Make sure you get a good quality product that is highly concentrated.

P.S. Keeping your brain healthy is just as important as purging “zombie cells” if you want to age gracefully. Find out how you can use this “Christmas herb” to help protect your brain year-round, right here.
