These 2 Mainstream Drugs INCREASE Cancer Risk!
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Time and again, Big Pharma has duped innocent customers.
They have a stranglehold on mainstream medicine, because many folks feel like they don’t have a choice but to take these dangerous drugs.
And if there’s one thing I try to get across to my readers, it’s that there are always options.
Because the truth is, many prescription medications are much more harmful than the disease they claim to treat…
And that’s especially true with these two mainstream drugs.
There are few drugs on the market as pointless as acid blockers.
These drugs – available both over the counter and by prescription – are extremely harmful to your brain and body. Far too often, they end up creating MORE heartburn instead of preventing it.
Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) – like omeprazole (Prilosec) and esomeprazole (Nexium) – are some of the most prescribed drugs in the world.
This is a problem for many reasons. First, stopping your stomach acid means you don’t absorb the nutrients your body needs, leading to a long list of problems like Alzheimer’s, heart disease, pneumonia, and even early death.
Then, a study from 2017 showed that taking PPIs long term could lead to stomach cancer.
But those aren’t the only acid blockers causing issues.
There’s a second type, called H2 blockers… and one of these particular could ALSO cause cancer.
Recently, the FDA called for an immediate market withdrawal for ranitidine (Zantac) because the drug contains a cancer-causing chemical called NDMA (N-Nitrosodimethylamine).
What most people don’t know about drugs is that they change over time while they’re sitting in your medicine cabinet. This is why you have to throw them out after a certain amount of time.
Not only was ranitidine contaminated by NDMA during production, now it’s been shown to INCREASE this cancer-causing chemical over time.
In other words, the longer ranitidine sits around, the more NDMA is created. That means older ranitidine is much worse than a new bottle.
This is really crazy, because there are great natural ways to take care of heartburn.
Let’s take a look.
Dr. Scott’s Foolproof Plan to Avoid Heartburn
- Stay away from soda. Sugary drinks are famous for producing gas (at both ends!), and when gas moves up from your stomach, it often carries stomach acid that can cause heartburn.
- Do your best to avoid too much sugar. Foods that contain sugar can act exactly like soda and cause gas.
- Take a probiotic. A healthy gut microbiome with diverse gut bacteria can help you reduce heartburn. Choose a quality probiotic with a higher number of colony-forming units or CFUs.
- Pass the salt – yes, the salt! I’ve talked a lot about the mainstream’s demonization of salt. When it comes to your gut health, salt helps keep bad bacteria in check and produces strong stomach acid, which reduces heartburn.
P.S. Acid blockers are being prescribed to unsuspecting hospital patients. Click here to find out more.
