The Heart Attack WARNING SIGN You Need to Know

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

There are a lot of things you can prepare for in life.

You can stock up on extra toilet paper (as we definitely learned in the pandemic!), make sure you keep the oil changed in your car and buy life insurance…

But when it comes to a heart attack, it can leave you lying dead in a matter of minutes.

Mainstream medicine will tell you that there’s not much you can do to stop a heart attack, but a new study begs to differ.

Researchers have discovered a heart attack warning sign you need to know.

But don’t worry—I’m going to tell you everything you need to know to disarm it.

We’ve known for a long time that high blood sugar increases the risk for many conditions… including heart disease.

But now we’ve found the clearest connection yet.

In a new study published in Circulation, scientists from the University of Oxford found that poor blood sugar control in diabetes patients causes long-term changes to the immune system, which harms our hearts.

I know that’s a lot of information at once, so let me explain.

The researchers compared white blood cells from healthy people to folks with type 2 diabetes.

In the type 2 diabetes patients, the white blood cells showed higher inflammation when compared to the participants with normal blood sugar.

Those constant, sustained low levels of inflammation irritate your blood vessels… and this opens the door to clots that could block your heart’s blood vessels…

And the next thing you know, you’ve had a heart attack.

Additionally, inflammation promotes the growth of plaques AND loosens plaque in your arteries which also triggers blood clots — the primary cause of heart attacks and strokes.

To sum it up, it’s in your best interest to keep inflammation low and get control of your blood sugar.

You can lower inflammation naturally by avoiding too much sugar and processed foods, while also loading up on veggies.

If you really want to keep inflammation down, try a curcumin supplement. Curcumin is a natural anti-inflammatory that can boost your health as a whole.

P.S. While you’re lowering inflammation, don’t forget to work on lowering your blood sugar naturally as well. If you’re suffering from out-of-control blood sugar levels, try this “clock trick.” Learn more about it right here.
