Dodge Blood Sugar Issues with THIS Gut Bug Favorite

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

You suspect you might be having blood sugar issues. Maybe you’ve had the classic signs of increased hunger, fatigue, and urination. Or perhaps you’ve felt shaky and had headaches.

But regardless of what symptoms send you to see the doc when you mention blood sugar problems, you know what’s going to happen. He’s will try to talk you into taking a drug to balance your blood sugar.

Let’s face it, the last thing you want is another heavy-duty med. And besides, you’ve probably watched friends or family members battle the sickening side effects of those blood-sugar-regulating drugs and don’t want to deal with those yourself.

But what if you didn’t have to? What if there was a way to get ahead of your blood sugar issues BEFORE you need meds?

Imagine a solution that gently steers your numbers back in the proper direction with no drugs needed. Well, scientists say they may have uncovered exactly that.

It turns out the pathway to better blood sugar could start with something as simple as your choice of an afternoon beverage.

You’ve probably heard of your microbiome before. In fact, I’ve even written about it right here in Living Well Daily. In this case, it’s the collection of mostly good bacteria that live in your gut.

Your microbiome does so many vital things for your health that it’s puzzling why doctors don’t focus on it more.

For example, your microbiome can…

  • help you digest food
  • protect against foreign invaders
  • improve your metabolism

And it turns out that the same collection of gut bugs can ALSO help you manage your blood sugar.

Now scientists say one of the best (and easiest) ways to boost your microbiome for better blood sugar balance is to feed it a delicious cup of green tea.

A new study published in the journal Current Developments in Nutrition found that drinking green tea can help balance blood sugar by helping to improve the microbiome.

The researchers recruited 40 volunteers and had them drink green tea for four weeks. They found that the tea drinkers had significantly improved gut health, inflammation levels, and blood sugar at the end of the month.

The researchers point to anti-inflammatory compounds in the tea called catechins as a possible reason tea works so well. Your typical cup of green tea is packed with 50–100 mg of the potent compounds.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Help head off serious blood sugar issues starting today by cutting out added sugars and empty junk carbs, adopting an active hobby that gets you up and moving more, and drinking a daily mug or two of delicious green tea.

P.S. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the benefits of drinking green tea. A regular tea habit could slash your chances of ANOTHER major risk by up to 56 percent. Click here for all the incredible details.
