“Belly” Solution STOPS Breast Cancer Spread

Getting diagnosed with cancer is terrifying. But do you know what makes it even MORE frightening?

When the cancer spreads (metastasizes).

Cancer doctors (oncologists) give cancers a rating between one and five, called a grade. It reflects how advanced the cancer is.

In order to get a grade five, the cancer usually has to have metastasized or spread from the original spot where it developed to other parts of the body.

However, understanding WHY and HOW cancer spreads is a mystery even the best minds in cancer research still haven’t entirely cracked.

But now, a new study has revealed a whole new understanding of cancer spread. It points to the significant role a particular part of your body can play in metastasis.

And understanding this surprising link has ALSO revealed a powerful tool that could help us put the brakes on the spread.

Metastatic breast cancer is often deadly. In fact, only 29 percent of women who’ve had their cancer spread survive just five years. And for men, the outlook is even worse, with only 22 percent surviving for five years.

Now a new lab study has given us some much-needed insights.

The study published in the journal Cancer Immunology Research revealed that an unhealthy gut can trigger changes in breast cells that help cancer spread.

It turns out that when the microbes that live in the gut (the microbiome) are out of balance, this “reprograms” important immune cells called mast cells found in healthy breast tissue.

The reprogrammed mast cells appear to help spread the cancer by causing changes in the tissues, including the buildup of collagen.

The good news is, this discovery points us to what could be a powerful tool for fighting metastasis. And that, of course, is to improve our gut-bug balance.

We already know that having a healthy microbiome strengthens the immune system. And that a gut packed full of good microbes supports better health from head to toe, including brain, heart, and mental health.

Now we know it may also help us fight back against the spread of cancer.

To keep your gut in tip-top shape, follow my five simple rules for Microbiome Mastery:

  • Steer clear of antibiotics unless you absolutely need them. These drugs destroy the good bugs right along with the bad ones. If you must take a course of antibiotics, supplement with plenty of probiotics to restore your gut-bug balance.
  • Eat more fermented foods, including sauerkraut, pickles, and yogurt (look for ones marked “live cultures” on the label). And if you’re slightly more adventurous, you can try miso and kimchi too.
  • Take a good probiotic from a manufacturer you trust. I personally like to rotate probiotics to get a wide variety of bacteria species.
  • Eat plenty of prebiotics. Probiotics need food to survive and thrive. Fresh raw vegetables are an excellent source of prebiotic fiber.
  • Focus on lifestyle changes. Get plenty of good quality sleep, reduce your stress levels, and exercise regularly.

P.S. A shocking new study has revealed that a common mainstream treatment can cause breast cancer cells to SPREAD. I’ve got all the disturbing details here.
