"Road Test" PREDICTS Dementia YEARS in Advance?!

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

One of the most frustrating aspects of Alzheimer’s is that it can fly under the radar for YEARS before any obvious signs send you to the doctor.

And that delays interventions that could help slow the progression of this devastating disease. By the time you’re diagnosed, it’s often too late to make a meaningful difference.

But researchers now have another clue that could one day help us diagnose dementia YEARS earlier than conventional blood tests and brain scans.

In fact, a study found that this “test” predicts early Alzheimer’s with 88 percent accuracy.

And it’s something you ALREADY likely do daily…

A team of scientists from Columbia University found that your driving habits suggest a risk for dementia YEARS earlier than other common signs of the disease.

The researchers recruited 3,000 senior drivers who were willing to have a computer installed in their car that tracked their driving habits. And the team found they could correctly predict mild cognitive impairment and dementia 88 percent of the time.

(And in case you’re wondering, that’s FAR BETTER than what other dementia tests can do.)

When the researchers reviewed the data from the computers, a few driving habits stuck out like sore thumbs, including:

  • hard braking
  • frequency of trips
  • length of trips

And it turns out those indicators could be used to predict later dementia.

By the end of the nearly two-year study, 33 percent of folks had been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment.

Now, of course, these computers aren’t available to the public yet. But what the team uncovered clearly shows that signs of dementia show up far sooner than anyone expected.

This means earlier intervention is vital. In fact, you should start protecting your brain against damage starting TODAY. And the following supplements can help do precisely that.

  • Creatine is an amino acid that’s good for the brain and helps support energy production.
  • Omega-3s are essential fatty acids found in fish oil. Your brain needs them to properly function. Plus, they protect against cell- and tissue-damaging oxidation.
  • CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant that fights damaging oxidation and provides your energy-hungry brain with fuel to function at the top of its game.
  • Antioxidants such as vitamins A and C and the phytonutrients found in superfood supplements support a healthy brain.
  • Herbs such as curcumin and bacopa decrease inflammation and act as powerful antioxidants.
  • Melatonin is a 2-for-1 nutrient that can help fight dementia and aid with sleep issues (common in folks with dementia). The hormone breaks down into a memory-boosting metabolite called N1-acetyl-5-methoxykynuramine (AMK).
