BRIGHT IDEA Stops Colon Cancer in Its Tracks

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

One thing no one ever thinks to warn you about a cancer diagnosis is the RUSH.

While you’re still trying to process the news that you have cancer, you’re already asked to make decisions about your treatments.

You’re told there’s no time to waste. And warned delays could lead to disaster.

It’s no wonder so many folks just throw up their hands and agree to the standard poison, slash, and burn treatments without a second thought.

But sadly, the typical mainstream approach often leaves you sicker than you started.

That’s why I’m excited to share all the details on a breakthrough LIGHT THERAPY that could “supercharge” standard cancer therapy while guarding your health.

We’ve known for a long time now that the sunshine vitamin is colon cancer’s arch-enemy. High levels of D are linked to a lower risk of developing colon cancer.

But a group of researchers began to ponder what D could do for folks who were ALREADY diagnosed with the disease. “What kind of impact would the sunlight-linked nutrient have on standard cancer treatment?” they wondered.

The researchers recruited 139 folks with untreated metastatic colorectal cancer who were about to begin chemotherapy.

They were then split into two groups.:

  • Group One: The high-dose group was given 8000 IU of vitamin D daily for two weeks and then switched to 4000 IU a day.
  • Group Two: The low-dose group was given 400 IU (the recommended daily allowance for vitamin D is 800 IU) daily for the whole study.

Both groups underwent standard chemotherapy during the trial.

During the two years of follow-up, individuals in Group One who received the higher dose of D were significantly less likely to have their cancer progress or die than the low-dose group.

In other words, the sunshine vitamin appeared to SIGNIFICANTLY SLOW the growth of colon cancer.

These findings alone are enough reason to get more vitamin D. But, when you factor in that the mainstream has scared folks away from spending time in the sun (a BIG mistake), it’s even clearer that raising D levels should be a TOP priority.

Vitamin D deficiency affects around one billion people worldwide, with at least 35 percent of U.S. adults being deficient. And around 50 percent of folks have insufficient levels of this vital vitamin.

You can boost your vitamin D levels by spending at least 15 minutes in direct sunlight daily without sunscreen or protective gear. Or you can talk with your doctor about taking a vitamin D supplement.

P.S. Scientists are harnessing the deep penetrating power of light in an innovative approach to help relieve occasional aches and pains. This incredible pain relief technique is ALREADY being used by celebrities and athletes—and now it’s your turn.
