Arthritis Drug DESTROYS Joints Faster [URGENT]

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

I’ve warned readers about the risks of taking over-the-counter NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen for years.

Potential side effects such as ulcers, internal bleeding, kidney disease, and increased stroke risk are reasons enough to ditch these drugs. But the hazards are even greater for folks battling arthritis.

Research has found that NSAIDs can make arthritis WORSE.

These common pain meds interfere with the production of cartilage, the connective tissue that protects your joints and bones. And a recent study found these same drugs can drive up joint pain by RAISING inflammation over time.

Now, another “gold standard” arthritis pain treatment has come under fire.

If you battle persistent arthritis pain, your doctor may recommend a corticosteroid shot to manage it.

They’re injected directly into the problem joint… most often a hip or knee.

It’s a standard arthritis treatment that’s been used for decades.

But now scientists have an urgent warning for us.

Researchers analyzed X-rays from a group of arthritis patients who received corticosteroid shots and a group who hadn’t.

They found that the folks who had received an injection had their arthritis progress significantly FASTER than those who weren’t treated.

The researchers wondered if patients who got the shot felt so much better that they overused the joint, causing more damage.

But it turns out this wasn’t the case. In fact, all the folks in the study were equally active.

Since NSAIDs can worsen your pain and steroid injections hit the fast-forward button on joint damage, you’re probably wondering what you CAN do for the pain.

I suggest trying NATURAL treatments instead.

The following supplements support better joint health and can dial down the pain:

  • Glucosamine is a normal component of cartilage. It acts like an oil lubricating the joints for easier movement. I recommend 1500 milligrams daily.
  • Chondroitin is another building block of cartilage. Studies show chondroitin helps reduce joint pain and stiffness in people with osteoarthritis. Take 400 to 800 milligrams two to three times a day for the best benefits.
  • SAMe or S-adenosyl-L-methionine is an amino acid that’s essential for cartilage repair. The usual dosage is 200 to 400 milligrams three times a day.
  • Turmeric is a spice that contains an active ingredient called curcumin. It’s been used for hundreds of years to fight inflammation. And modern studies confirm curcumin improves pain and function.
  • Boswellia (Indian frankincense) has been used for thousands of years to reduce inflammation. Recent studies confirm it’s a natural anti-inflammatory and reduces joint pain.
  • Fish oil (DHA and EPA) is an effective anti-inflammatory. Studies show it can relieve joint pain. I recommend between 1000 and 3000 milligrams daily.
  • Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an amino acid that’s taken to help rebuild or maintain joint health. A typical dosage is between 1500 and 6000 milligrams a day.
