NEW Medicinal Mushroom Benefit UNCOVERED

I’m a big fan of medicinal mushrooms.

Almost everyone has eaten a standard mushroom on a pizza or in a spaghetti sauce, of course.

But most folks have yet to experience medical mushrooms’ power to improve our health.

Medicinal mushrooms are already used to treat heart, liver, and brain conditions. They can boost the immune system, reduce stress, act as antioxidants, reduce inflammation, and balance blood sugar. They’re even being used to treat cancer.

And now researchers have uncovered another benefit of a particular medicinal mushroom. If you’re a senior, this one might be PRECISELY what you need.

The top medicinal mushrooms are lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga, turkey tail, shiitake, and maitake.

The last couple on that list you’ve likely heard of. You MIGHT even find one or both of them in your local grocery store. But MOST of these mushrooms are rare, take more of an effort to find, and often go unnoticed.

Take for example, lion’s mane.

Lion’s mane has been a staple in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine for thousands of years. It’s used to nourish the gut and fight cancer. And it’s said to specifically support the liver, spleen, lungs, heart, and kidneys.

But now scientists say it could provide backup for your brain too!

Something remarkable happened when researchers exposed brain cells to the compounds in lion’s mane. The mushroom extracts made the brain cells increase their neuron projections.

This is a BIG deal because brain cells are only as good as their connections. The more connections your brain cells make, the better your brain works.

This finding may help explain the results of an earlier 2020 study. For that study, volunteers with mild Alzheimer’s took one gram of lion’s mane daily for 49 weeks.

Ultimately, the folks who received the mushroom performed SIGNIFICANTLY better on cognitive tests than their peers who took a placebo.

To keep your brain healthy as you age, and to hold on to your precious memories, consider adding lion’s mane to your brain-supporting arsenal. Along with…

  • Exercise: Regular movement enhances memory and fights cognitive decline. Commit to something you enjoy, such as walking, swimming, or dancing, and it will be easier to stick to.
  • Creatine: This amino acid supports cognition and energy production.
  • Omega-3: Fish oil is rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids, which protects against oxidation, and supports brain function.
  • CoQ10: This powerful antioxidant can help protect mitochondria while fighting brain fog and providing energy throughout the brain and body.
  • Antioxidants: Vitamins A and C and phytonutrients such as polyphenols and carotenes are natural antioxidants that fight oxidative stress to brain cells.
  • Herbs such as curcumin and bacopa decrease inflammation and enhance cognition and memory.

P.S. Research reveals THIS woodland secret can help banish depression. And it costs practically pennies! CLICK HERE for the whole scoop.
