“Miracle Molecule” TARGETS Blood Pressure

It’s NOT your imagination.

Your blood pressure IS creeping up with each passing year. And your doctor likely IS on your case more than ever about avoiding heart disease.

See, as we get older, our blood vessels tend to stiffen. And stiffer vessels mean your heart has to work harder to push blood through them.

This is what makes your blood pressure climb. And as time passes, it leads to a higher risk of heart disease.

But researchers have uncovered a “miracle molecule” that could send your heart disease risk plummeting up to 26 percent.

And all you have to do is down a daily cup of a cheap and easy-to-find supermarket staple.

They say it’s not easy being green.

But EATING (leafy) greens? Well, if you ask me that’s easy and tasty.

And when you DO munch on more greens, you could literally be heading off heart disease.

However, most folks don’t eat nearly enough veggies, let alone the leafy green variety.

And that could be putting a hurting on your heart health.

You see, green leafy vegetables… along with beets of all things… contain a “miracle molecule” that naturally lowers blood pressure and long-term heart risks right along with it.

In fact, a study published in the European Journal of Epidemiology found that eating just one cup of raw leafy greens each day can result in an INCREDIBLE 26 percent lower chance of developing heart disease later in life.

To figure out this remarkable fact, the research team took a deep dive into the medical records of over 50,000 folks in Denmark. And they tracked each participant’s health and diet habits for 23 years.

Two things soon became crystal clear…

First, eating lots of nitrate-rich vegetables was linked to a 2.5-point (mm Hg) lower systolic (top number) blood pressure.

Now I know that at first glance, that might not seem like much of a drop. But trust me, it can have a HUGE impact.

In fact, that “small” reduction in blood pressure led to the researcher’s second discovery.

The participants who ate the most leafy greens had between a 12 and 26 percent LOWER chance of a heart disease diagnosis later in life.

Nitrate-rich foods include…

  • spinach
  • broccoli
  • bok choy
  • lettuce
  • cabbage
  • kale

And, of course, don’t forget those beets.

Personally, I happen to love a green salad with a dash of olive oil and vinegar. But I get it if making like a bunny and munching on a bowl of green leaves simply isn’t YOUR thing.

Luckily there are other PLENTY of other ways to boost your greens intake….

Try blending up fresh greens, and adding them into almost-finished sauces. Or drop a handful into homemade soups right before serving.

The fresh leaves taste terrific as a hamburger or sandwich topper. And if you’re a fan of healthy smoothies, you can blend them right in without changing the drink’s taste.

The bottom line is when you eat more greens you’ll be doing your HEART and overall health a HUGE favor.

P.S. Researchers have discovered that a certain “missing” vitamin could SLASH your heart disease risk by 30 percent. CLICK HERE to find out what it is and where to get it.
