AM Switch Leads to ALL DAY Blood Sugar Control

If you battle blood sugar problems, you probably ALREADY know that keeping your numbers under control is one of the best things you can do for your health.

The list of problems that come with uncontrolled blood sugar is long.

They include eye problems (macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy), heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and nerve damage.

But what if I told you that you could make just one tiny change to your routine and FINALLY be rewarded with the blood sugar control you’ve been working so hard for?

You’d want to know exactly what it is, right?

Well, recent research has revealed the secret to doing PRECISELY that…

A new study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that when folks with type 2 diabetes simply skip the carbs at BREAKFAST, they have significantly improved blood sugar control ALL DAY.

The diabetic volunteers replaced a typical low-fat breakfast (like oatmeal, toast, fruit, cereal, etc.) with a high-fat and protein meal (like eggs with bacon or cheese).

After 12 weeks, the folks who ate a low-carb breakfast and ate anything they wanted for the rest of the day had far better blood sugar control than those who ate a low-fat morning meal.

The low-carb group ALSO naturally ate less food during the day. And the reason why is easy to see.   Both fat and protein help us feel full longer. So they simply weren’t hungry.

In other words, we have a legitimate excuse to indulge in some delicious eggs and bacon in the morning.

Most people won’t see a blood sugar spike from eating a low-carb breakfast. In fact, skipping carbohydrates in the morning almost mimics the benefits of intermittent fasting (for more details on those benefits, click here).

Following a low-carb diet often improves insulin sensitivity. This means your body uses insulin far more effectively to transport glucose into your cells.

In fact, in some cases, these improvements can even lead to reducing or eliminating your blood sugar meds.

As always, any medication changes should be discussed with your healthcare practitioner.

P.S. You’re not diabetic, so there’s no need to worry about your blood sugar, right? WRONG! Look out for these common telltale danger signs that your sugar is running far too high.
